Join your friends at Ethos for a community event celebrating yoga as a way of life.
HRH Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil, who visited Ethos in 2022, returns with his husband, HH Prince deAndre, Duke of Hanumanteshwar, to lead us in gentle yoga, accompanied by the hypnotic sounds of his harmonium, an Indian musical instrument.
For the princes, who are internationally recognized human rights advocates with their organic farm back in India, yoga, meditation, and mindfulness are practices that they embrace daily. As practitioners who embrace the traditional Hatha principles of a balanced approach to mind and body, yoga for them is not merely a physical exercise, but a way of life. For more information about the princes, and their US tour, please see TheGayRoyals.com.
Stress management is one of our healthy lifestyle pillars, and for many it is needed today more than ever. Following the gentle yoga session, we will engage in a heartfelt conversation about yoga, meditation, and mindfulness in our daily lives.
This will be a rain or shine outdoor event. Please bring your own blanket, yoga mat, or chair. Also bring your own water bottle.
"...yoga is our sanctuary. It is where we process pain, nurture our bond, and return to the wellspring of divine love. Meditation and mindfulness are not practices we visit occasionally; they are companions we walk with daily. They remind us to act from presence, to lead with compassion, and to honor the dignity in all beings."
